Recruitment Information

Approximate hours per week: 15

Qualifications: Enthusiasm for scientific research. Basic knowledge of biochemistry and proteins. Preference will be given to students who are highly motivated for research and are willing to put a lot of time into it.

Research may include: Protein purification; Study the aggregation of proteins; Characterize protein aggregates with various biophysical methods such as dye binding assays, gel electrophoresis, fluorescence, electron microscopy, and electron paramagnetic resonance; Review scientific literature and writing papers. Highly independent students will have opportunities to work on their own projects that lead to publications.
